Tonight, I had the pleasure of attending the TheatreVision screening for How to Train Your Dragon in honor of the Junior Blind Olympics.  With dual narration tracks, one dialog/one descriptive, TheatreVision gives the visually impaired a movie-going experience.  The film was narrated by actor William Atherton (Ghost Busters, Die Hard) and he has such a wonderful, giving spirit!

Fresh off the field from their awards ceremony, the Olympians were treated to a lunch from Subway and a screening at the Harmony Gold Theatre in Hollywood.  These kids were so full of energy and zest for life – their “disabilities” generally went unnoticed!  Like most young people, they were curious, vivacious and so thrilled for the opportunity to “watch” a movie with their friends and family.  It was such a blessing to be able to show support for the youth of America, the arts, children with disabilities and give them some extra choix de vie!
