There are many things we love about survivalist Bear Grylls such as his penchant for eating whatever creepy crawly thing he comes across, questionable choices that lead to thrilling adventures and his infectious appreciation for nature. Starting Tuesday, February 16, Bear Grylls takes us to an African wildlife preserve in his latest film, Animals On The Loose: A You VS Wild Movie streaming only on Netflix.
The protective fence surrounding a wildlife sanctuary has mysteriously suffered a breach. Bear is called in to help rescue a mischievous baboon, track down a hungry lion, and fix the fence before any more animals get out. Bear’s creative problem solving skills often have me shaking my head thinking, “that is not a good idea” only to find myself jumping and laughing. Only Bear Grylls could get himself into and out of a sticky situation that turns into a lesson of nature preservation and conservation.
The film’s interactive format lets viewers decide where Bear should go next to help rescue the animals. To make the viewing experience even more fun, download the printable workbook linked below. It is packed with facts, worksheets and games to play while you watch! The film is great for the whole family but has its fair share of peril and grubs. After all, this is Bear Grylls.
