We just can’t get enough of Nick Jr.‘s Blues Clues & You! The latest release, Blue’s Big Baking Show contains four episodes of sweetness and is available on DVD starting Tuesday 2/22/22!
This collection includes out family favorite, Blue’s Big Baking Show where we meet Josh’s Lola – his grandmother in Tagalog, the language of the Philippines where my dad is also from. Blue’s Clues has been so wonderful over the years about incorporating sign language into every episode and with Josh Dela Cruz hosting, the writers of Blue’s Clues and You! have been amazing at playing to his strengths, as well as his Filipino-American heritage.
The other night at dinner Tala, my three year old, was eating fried rice and declared, “Masarap!” This translates to “delicious” along with the coordinating ASL sign. Of course, this made all of us laugh with delight and completely amazed her grandfather. So not only is she learning sign language but also how to speak another language! Just one more reason to love this amazing show.
This DVD has four fun and food-themed episodes as Blue and Josh learn how to bake bibingka, run their own fancy restaurant, help Mr. Salt find his disappearing pies, and celebrate YOUR birthday!
