All of our favorite hosts reunite in the feature-length Blue’s Clues & You! film, Blue’s Big City Adventure, along with animated friends Rainbow Puppy, Mr. Salt, Mailbox, Slippery Soap and more.
Blue’s Big City Adventure follows Josh (Josh Dela Cruz), who gets the opportunity of a lifetime to audition for Rainbow Puppy’s (Brianna Bryan) Broadway musical, and Blue (Traci Paige Johnson) as they skidoo to New York City where they meet new friends and discover the magic of music, dance and following one’s dreams. The entire Blue’s Clues crew is reunited for this special movie event, with the beloved animated friends and all three hosts – Josh, Steve (Steve Burns) and Joe (Donovan Patton) – together for the first time in the Big Apple.
The film features all-new songs and choreography with special star appearances by BD Wong, Ali Stroker, Taboo, Alex Winter, Phillipa Soo and Steven Pasquale.
We are big fans of all the Blue’s Clues shows and love how Blue’s Clues & You! brings all of our favorite elements of all the series together. Examples of diversity, teamwork, healthy emotional expression and the importance of communication are all themes that carry over seamlessly from the shows to the film.
Both Olivia (6) and Tala (4) absolutely loved watching Josh and Blue’s latest adventure in the “real world” of New York City. The story was easy to follow and great for K-1 kids who have a longer attention span but still love the Blue’s Clues fun. The songs were perfectly written and my kids got up and dances with every single one! It is a wonderful example of all the excitement (and some minor hiccups) that happens when you follow your dreams.
Blue’s Big City Adventure will be available to stream beginning on Friday, Nov. 18, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Latin America, Australia, and rolling out later in the year in Italy, along with additional international territories in 2023.
