Recently, I’ve been in major nesting mode. Being 30 weeks pregnant will do that. I’ve spent countless hours trying to rearrange our apartment, looking for things to purge and trying to make this place feel a little more comfortable.
Since Baby #2 is a twice confirmed girl, we are planning a California Girl desert themed room. Purzest was kind enough to send me this lovely planter to help carry the theme through! They show it as a cactus or succulent planter (pictured below from Amazon) but I lack a green thumb! I have found it to be the perfect place to store my colored pencils and create a colorful arrangement on my desk.
It’s perfect for when I pull out my mandala coloring book and provides easy access when Liv wants to borrow the pencils. Plus, it doesn’t have to be watered! Even bigger plus….I could use it as a vase for cut flowers, or could keep all of my hair bands in one place, or store my chocolate stash inside, or float a candle in it for spa night, or serve berries from it at my next party. Or, I could get brave and plant a succulent to see if my luck has improved. For now, I’m sticking with items that don’t require special care! The planter itself is beautifully minimalistic, but not boring at all! The base is quite sturdy and can be displayed on the square or diamond for a more dramatic effect. I see no flaws with the ceramic and expect the piece to last.
You can find this planter on Amazon:
They also have a lot of other geometric and minimalistic designs in their shop that are just beautiful. Check them out!
