An autumn filled with tricks, treats and thanks is upon us and we are celebrating with some of our favorite Nick Jr. shows! The brand new DVD Nick Jr.: Fantastic Fall! features episodes from hit Nickelodeon shows PAW Patrol, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Bubble Guppies, Butterbean’s Cafe and two new episodes of Blue’s Clues & You!
Episodes in this collection feature two of the season’s highlights: Halloween and Thanksgiving! I’m so happy to have some not-so-scary Halloween options for my 4-year old to watch. She can be quite sensitive when it comes to spooky thrills, but considers herself a big kid and will often try to be brave. The Blue’s Clues & You! episode, Spooky Costume Party with Blue has just enough chills to keep her intrigued but not so much to creep her out. Same with Bubble Guppies and the Trick-or-Treat, Mr. Gumpfish! episode. Halloween isn’t all about getting the creeps!
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, Blue’s Clues will always have a special place in my heart and Blue’s Clues & You! maybe even more so now that I have kids of my own! Thankful with Blue is one of the sweetest episodes of all the Blue’s Clues dogdom and gives a great bite-sized look at what it means to be thankful that young children can understand. If you only watch one episode from this collection, make it this one!
