It’s (almost) official! After the search for my perfect first producing project, I have joined my San Francisco based friends at Raher Brothers Productions as producer on their inaugural feature film, Evicted. We are slated to begin production this November with Brendan Raher helming as writer/director, Vince Navarro co-producing with me, alongside Lucky Dragon Productions.
Evicted stars Amy Gumenick (Natalee Holloway, Supernatural, Grimm) as a “successful” young business woman who finds out that she is being evicted from her life. As people begin to forget her and things disappear from her life, she searches for a way to right her wrongs and discovers what is most important in life. San Francisco favorites Rowan Brooks and Kelli Shane will be co-starring!
With a classic storytelling style reminiscent of films such as It’s A Wonderful Life and The Bells of St. Mary’s, incredible talent from around the world, and sweeping views of San Francisco, Evicted is an enchanting tale of the human spirit.
We have been greenlit for production, but we can’t do it alone! It is only with YOUR help that this project will actually be seen on the Silver Screen. We are enlisting support via Kickstarter, a community pledging website, with a goal of $95,000 – this is enough for us to begin production this winter.
Some things you should know:
1. Kickstarter is all or nothing, so if we don’t make our goal, we don’t make the movie
2. The more backers we have and the more comments they (you) leave, the higher our rating. The higher our rating, the better are chances are of becoming a featured project on the Kickstarter website
3. Once you’ve pledged and commented, pretty, pretty please tweet, repost or forward the info to your friends and family to help us make our goal
